JKLM. I want to design websites for do-good non-profit organizations. I will do it for no charge.
Short version: After I went freelance in late 09', I was -surprisingly enough- not met with thousands of clients obnoxiously waving wads of cash before my face. Money was not really an issue, as I love what I do, otherwise I wouldn't go down this road; it was the deprivation of a stage to show off my skills that got me depressed.
I got two(2) clients later in 2010, both of whom screwed me over and really messed me up. That put me off client work somewhat entirely - the usual story. Anyways, I didn't give up on web design; I've gained a lot of knowledge ever since and now I want to use my superpowers for truth, for justice, forever. :}
I reserve the right to reject any work if your organization doesn't meet the compliances. Nothing to worry though, unless you support terrorism, homophobia, the-bill-to-legalize-murder, sexism, racism etc.
I take work depending on my time and the type of website you require. Keep in mind that I'm a front-end developer, so don't expect me to code you up a facebook clone for your school. I would if I could.
It is important that you refer the tools I use to get an idea of what to expect. Please enlighten me with good services if they are not listed! Alternatively, you can look at my portfolio of the websites I've built(coming soon).
